So in Raynors defence she employed a third party to make sure all her affairs were in order and they got it wrong.
In polanskis defence he paid the wrong amount (didn’t not pay it) by mistake.


Farage took a 5 million pound bung without any misunderstanding, accident, bad advice or anything.

Not saying Raynor or or Polanski are right but it looks as though they made mistakes.

Taking a £5 Million bung is not something you make a mistake with. How many more bungs has the man taken that we don’t know about? Who were they from and what do those that gave them to him want in return. The guy is a charlatan and politician for hire.

Well, for a man that doesn't like immigrants - he has declared income from a company that specialise in getting people British passports - if they are rich enough. They also advise in tax "minimisation".

Alcohol misuse is estimated to cost the NHS around £5bn a year, and over £27bn to the country as a whole.

Drug use (not just heroin and crack cocaine) costs the NHS around £500m, and £19bn over all, mainly due to the cost of policing them.

Criminalising drug users doesn't work. Licencing/controlling drug use alongside a harm reduction and treatment programmes is the only way to address this. But its easier to mock this for cheap political wins.

I'm amazed anyone can really defend subsidised bars in Parliament. Firstly they shouldn't be going on a sesh when working, and secondly these are the very people who put tax on drink for the rest of us.

Just goes to show that some will attack "the other side" no matter what they say.

Thirdly, alcohol at work and even drinking alcohol on a lunch break has been banned in most of the Public Sector and civil service for a very long time.

In fact, in many parts of the public sector, employees are not even allowed to claim for alcoholic drinks with an evening meal when work necessitates them staying away from home overnight. Imagine that in the private sector or indeed from our elected representatives.

These public servants in Parliament should be no different.
