Taking a £5 Million bung is not something you make a mistake with. How many more bungs has the man taken that we don’t know about? Who were they from and what do those that gave them to him want in return. The guy is a charlatan and politician for hire.

Well, for a man that doesn't like immigrants - he has declared income from a company that specialise in getting people British passports - if they are rich enough. They also advise in tax "minimisation".
 
Hannah Spencer has quite rightly called out the subsidised bar and drinking that goes on in parliament. Seems like a bit of an 'old boys network rule', yet if you go into any civil service office, they have to bring in their own tea-bags.

I notices the odious Sarah Pochin from Reform jeering her and telling her to get a life. And I thought Reform were supposed to be the party that were 'against the establishment'.

Reform are only pretending to be against the establishment because they're not it....everyone can see that, surely🤷‍♂️

Spencer calling out a subsidised bar in the House of Commons but is a member of a party who wants to decriminalise crack cocaine and heroin.
 
Alcohol misuse is estimated to cost the NHS around £5bn a year, and over £27bn to the country as a whole.

Drug use (not just heroin and crack cocaine) costs the NHS around £500m, and £19bn over all, mainly due to the cost of policing them.

Criminalising drug users doesn't work. Licencing/controlling drug use alongside a harm reduction and treatment programmes is the only way to address this. But its easier to mock this for cheap political wins.
 
I'm amazed anyone can really defend subsidised bars in Parliament. Firstly they shouldn't be going on a sesh when working, and secondly these are the very people who put tax on drink for the rest of us.

Just goes to show that some will attack "the other side" no matter what they say.

Thirdly, alcohol at work and even drinking alcohol on a lunch break has been banned in most of the Public Sector and civil service for a very long time.

In fact, in many parts of the public sector, employees are not even allowed to claim for alcoholic drinks with an evening meal when work necessitates them staying away from home overnight. Imagine that in the private sector or indeed from our elected representatives.

These public servants in Parliament should be no different.

Polanski seems to make a lot of "inadvertant mistakes" for a political party leader - don't like Farage at all but surely Zack should be a tad more careful on his social media usage

And for his next trick - how to enlarge women's breasts - oh sorry been there already

So Zack Polanski accidentally retweeted a photo of someone wearing a T-shirt of a guillotine and the slogan "we're only making plans for Nigel".

He's certainly gone down in my estimations - Nigel Havers is a superbly talented and well respected actor with fifty years in the industry.

Or maybe he means Nigel Mansell - whatever has he done to offend Zack? His battles with Alain Prost and Ayrton Senna were epic - and I'm not even a big fan of F1.

Apparently he liked a post that had some 20 images attached to it. In one of those images of a group of people, someone was wearing the offending t-shirt. I doubt most interns would have even spotted that.

And as soon as he was made aware of it, Polanski withdrew his endorsement of the offending tweet.

But Reforms interns did spot it and it gave their professional grievance peddlers the ammunition they desired, regardless of how (even more) pathetic and desperate it makes them look to ordinary folk.

Dimwitted? He admitted he made an error. When has £5m bung Farage ever done that? When has Farage ever apologised for his statements encouraging violence and harm?

So, the Police have investigated and will take no further action. . . . seems fair.

And before anyone considers responding to say it's far from fair, please consider this (not my words, but those of NewsThump:))
