Social distancing, to some extent, will be a fact of life until a vaccine is found. So, as social distancing and playing a contact sport can't co-exist - without testing to ensure safety - do you think grassroots football at Steps 3-7 could effectively be shelved until a cure is available? Or, if you feel it is possible, how does the FA get it going again?
 
I think you’ve hit the nail on the head regarding the vaccine. I can’t see life getting back to normal, including sport, without one. Unless we get very lucky and the virus just disappears.
Recreational cricket is currently on hold and I suspect football will follow suit until the current circumstances change.
