I played for Wood Farm as a goalie in the 70's. My first game for them was against Oxford Exiles in the Sunday League Cup. I was sent off in less than a second, which, if you go by the FA rules, must be a world record. I was an ineligible player and Exiles told the ref, who immediately sent me off. I only left Exiles the week before and you had to have played at least 4 games for a team, or been with them for at least a month, to play in the cup. Wood Farm went on to lose the game around 11-nil.Wood Farm Rangers, on the field behind the shops.
