I think Wilder's first pre-season with us was in Scotland, with Mickey Lewis driving the squad up, all travelling in two minibuses. I wonder if he will be doing that for Sheffield United in the Premiership?

What were the games we played? Over the three 'tours' I think we did Dumbarton, Alloa, Greenock Morton, Berwick Rangers, Livingston, ... ? What were the others?

Wasn’t there a behind closed doors friendly with Rangers?
Vaguely recall a couple of young loanees from ' rangers , was that conference years or back in the league. One loanee was better than the other if memory serves.
Could well have been a bcd friendly with 'rangers hence the 2 loanees?... mememory not all that today !

Assume you’re thinking of Steve Kinniburgh and Ross Perry.

Ross Perry was a decent CB.
Kinninburgh stayed with us but had a nasty injury from memory.

I remember how desperate we were to keep hold of Kinniburgh.

Just had a look to see where he is now and he's caretaker manager of Corby Town :D

Still no confirmation from either club
Wondering what's reason why it's not confirmed

Wood Farm Rangers, on the field behind the shops.
I played for Wood Farm as a goalie in the 70's. My first game for them was against Oxford Exiles in the Sunday League Cup. I was sent off in less than a second, which, if you go by the FA rules, must be a world record. I was an ineligible player and Exiles told the ref, who immediately sent me off. I only left Exiles the week before and you had to have played at least 4 games for a team, or been with them for at least a month, to play in the cup. Wood Farm went on to lose the game around 11-nil.
