Woking FC have just announced this new initiative:

Woking Football Club is delighted to announce the launch of #GetBehindTheShirt, an exciting fundraising initiative involving our new kits for next season, which we hope as many fans as possible will be able to get behind.

Packages starting from £25 allow fans to see their name woven into the design of next season's shirt, and go well up into the thousands for different privileges.

Could well be a way of raising money for the club to offset the financial losses associated with Covid if clubs were to follow this example - and a nice memento for any fans who go on to purchase a shirt, of which their name is part of the design.

Love that idea! If we did that I reckon a lot of fans would take up one of the packages.

But not overly keen on their new shirt design. One arm will always be either too hot or too cold.
