It's a great job lets be honest. Bit of a circus maybe with the current goings on but it would be the best job of Rowett's managerial career to date and getting it on the back of an indifferent second season with us would be a huge result for him, regardless of any imminent points deduction. Although Derby, Stoke and possibly Birmingham are all similar in size to Leicester their recent history sets them apart.

In their current predicament, with an impending points deduction, I think he'd be a good fit. Would probably steer them to safety and secure the job for next season before probably coming up a bit short and getting the bullet around Christmas time. Wherever Leicester are come August they will be expecting a tilt at promotion and not sure that's Rowett's bag to be managing a club with big expectation.

I would have thought if Bloomfield continues as he is then Rowett will struggle to get another championship job. Why would you employ him when his football is rubbish and there are plenty of Bloomfield style managers available.
