...and so we should.it ain't his fault we've messed up. we've gave the man a contract and I imagine we've got to stick to it
...and so we should.
...and so we should.
Oh I agree with that, I’m just saying we’ve taken somebody on and we are paying them so why can’t they play.it ain't his fault we've messed up. we've gave the man a contract and I imagine we've got to stick to it
That is possibly the most twatty thing I’ve ever read on hereIf there's a loophole we should take advantage of it, simple as that. We aren't a care home.
I would prefer we acted with integrity rather than like lowlife chancersIf there's a loophole we should take advantage of it, simple as that. We aren't a care home.
No, I don't want us to be "that club". If you start treating players poorly word will soon spread. If there's a loophole we should take advantage of it, simple as that. We aren't a care home.
WowIf there's a loophole we should take advantage of it, simple as that. We aren't a care home.
No, because if he is injured we won't have to pay him. That would be the insurance company, possibly in conjunction with the PFAThere does seem to be a bit of a contradiction. We can’t actually sign him, but we have to pay him yet if he’s injured we still have to pay him but he wouldn’t be allowed to play if he was fit.
Is this about right?
Interesting, had never considered this. Though now you say it, it makes total sense. No, because if he is injured we won't have to pay him. That would be the insurance company, possibly in conjunction with the PFA
Actually, it's more likely that we would pay him and claim the money back from the insurance but it's the same thing in effectInteresting, had never considered this. Though now you say it, it makes total sense.
I suppose in the embargo situation we find ourselves in - where we're counting every £ of our outgoings spent on player wages - we could really do with it going directly to the player via the insurance company, rather than via us.Actually, it's more likely that we would pay him and claim the money back from the insurance but it's the same thing in effect
But this is exactly the kind of stuff we have a history of missing - the detail.
All clubs have some kind of insurance I’m fairly sure.
Sadly you might be right.Knowing the planks running our club these days, we probably insured his car by mistake
What car does he drive? Is it his first one?Knowing the planks running our club these days, we probably insured his car by mistake
If there's a loophole we should take advantage of it, simple as that. We aren't a care home.
Not sure, what was yours? What car does he drive? Is it his first one?
Don't drive, never have. I have early memories of Dad driving us about in a Peugeot 505 though. Not sure, what was yours?
Wow
Just imagine if our government decided that they found a loophole when we got to state pension age and they decided that the state wasn’t a care home and just shot everyone at 67.
Would you be happy with that?
What are you doing here then?If there's a loophole we should take advantage of it, simple as that. We aren't a care home.
Oi he’s younger than me! But not funkierWhat are you doing here then?
Dick by name …..I remember when you said that you didn't care about Konak getting injured at the end of the season because he wasn't our problem any more.
Or that the women's team didn't deserve to share the men's award night.
Or the players disrespecting the club by bring their kids out before the Sheffield Wednesday game.
Or the club doing too much to recognise Amelia Aplin when they should have been focused on "our" game.
It's not just about not being that club, which we'll never be. But don't be that person that is just nasty for absolutely no reason.

Are you okay? Some of that you’ve just completely made up or twisted it to a degree you might as well have made it up. The only bit of that you have right is about Konak and that’s absolutely true, there aren’t enough hours in the day to worry about anything and everything that is outside of your control. I mean kids are dying of starvation in Africa right now but I can’t let that ruin my day. You love to come across all selfless and saintly but I reckon there’s more sincerity in speaking honestly from the heart than getting your answers from a text book every single time.
Are you okay?
Quite rough to be honest but it's a lot to get into here. Thanks for asking thoughI’m fine. You ?
