I’m not so sure, a club’s player registration and the squad registration are two different thingsGuess this solves the issue of whether we can register him or not. Sure he has a contract we will pay and now cover his treatment. Lots of expense for a player we cant use. Sucks. And feel for the guy as a year out at his age cant be good.
Helik, Brown, Long, Spencer can play center back.
Im sure Kioso and Leigh could at a push.
Plus the yoof team players!
Golding could be a back up player?Guess this solves the issue of whether we can register him or not. Sure he has a contract we will pay and now cover his treatment. Lots of expense for a player we cant use. Sucks. And feel for the guy as a year out at his age cant be good.

A very good question!Hold on did he get this injury whilst training with us before the squad left for Spain
If not what the f**k are we doing signing a player knowing he needed an ACL operation
So, can Peter Kioso play centre half?
He injured himself training with Oxford. We will be paying him.Hold on
Do we have to pay this guy if he isn’t registered because if we do have to pay him it seems unfair if he wasn’t able to play anyway
Anyone know
Despite the weather, it never rains but pours.
Doesn’t he have a one year contract? Out goes treatment table botherer Prelec, in comes Kent.
We’ll never see him play.

All clubs have some kind of insurance I’m fairly sure.Would his wage be covered by insurance or isn't that a thing? Seen it mentioned in the past but don't know if it actually is a thing.
Gutting for him though and the club, wish him a full and quick recovery.
But this is exactly the kind of stuff we have a history of missing - the detail. All clubs have some kind of insurance I’m fairly sure.
Well that is so unfair just say it was a slight knock and he’s back in 3 weeks we wouldn’t be able to play him because of the embargo and yet we have to pay him anywayHe injured himself training with Oxford. We will be paying him.
Well yes, there is thatBut this is exactly the kind of stuff we have a history of missing - the detail.
YesCouldn't make it up could you?!
Yes, his wages and medical expenses would be covered by insurance - both the club's and the PFA'sWould his wage be covered by insurance or isn't that a thing? Seen it mentioned in the past but don't know if it actually is a thing.

He injured his ACL in a training session.Hope he recovers well, anyone know what happened?
A Contract of Employment is different to registering a player with the EFL.Well that is so unfair just say it was a slight knock and he’s back in 3 weeks we wouldn’t be able to play him because of the embargo and yet we have to pay him anyway
That makes no sense
When he got relegated last time he came to us. Dont know who else was interested but if he chose us then cant imagine too many were banging at his door. Potentially even less suitors now hes a bit older.I can't see helik staying
Unfortunately it’s not his fault we’re under an embargo and can’t register him, regardless of whether he’s injured or not. We signed him, he’s got a Contract of Employment with us, we have to honour it. Just goes to show the SMT really had no clue this embargo was coming, even a few weeks ago when he signed, because surely even the most incompetent SMT wouldn’t sign a fella to a contract knowing we couldn’t utilise him for at least 6 months.Well that is so unfair just say it was a slight knock and he’s back in 3 weeks we wouldn’t be able to play him because of the embargo and yet we have to pay him anyway
That makes no sense
What are you on about? Say to who it was a slight knock? Your post makes no senseWell that is so unfair just say it was a slight knock and he’s back in 3 weeks we wouldn’t be able to play him because of the embargo and yet we have to pay him anyway
That makes no sense
it ain't his fault we've messed up. we've gave the man a contract and I imagine we've got to stick to itHold on
