He will be in the championship after next season with us, as long as he recruits well. then it’s mission accomplished all round.

I think there’s probably two routes that we could go down

1) A seasoned experienced manager such as Grayson, Warburton, Pearson etc. The problem with these guys is, ignoring the fact they’ve all experienced failure, could we entice them down to league 1, could we afford them and could we persuade them to stick to our business model?

2) A younger, up and coming Manager that is enjoying success at a lower level, such as Flynn at Newport, maybe Crowley although he probably falls into the former bracket now! There’s an element of risk but the key is they’d be hungry to succeed and full of confidence in their ability with fresh ideas

Edit - re Cowley - meaning too expensive and less malleable, not the he’s tasted failure

There is also a third scenario, that faz will be given the job until the end of the season, which considering he has been part of the problem, part of the same management team as clotet, is really worrying. Worrying, but attractive to eales as it is the cheap option.

Equally faz was also part of our success, so considering u don’t know how much pep let them be involved . It’s hard to say that’s it worrying or a good idea to get us back on plan

According to RO, noises coming out of the club, through whichever mysterious means that may be?!, indicate that they want somebody with managerial experience. That would rule Faz out.

Having said that bookies pay out after 10 games in charge, I wouldn’t be surprised if that means they end up having to pay out on him

He was also part of the same management team with MApp which was very successful.

Evidence* please that Faz is a) a cheap option b) that it is attractive to DE?

*Actual evidence, not supposition or conjecture as you seem so sure with your statement.

10 games!! We'll be in Southern League by then...pretty sure no chance of management team being given it long term.

The evidence is obvious and simple, fax ha

The evidence is the other side of that coin, that he has also been part of peps failure, as part of the management, simple. Secondly, there was Tuesday’s embarrassment, to back that up.

Any new manager should not be hamstrung if he wants to bring his own people in. Namely being stuck with fax and Allen.

So only supposition and guesswork then. Or just made up.

You do realise that keeping Pep was the cheap option?

And not buying Brannagan and Dickie, or paying Man City a loan fee, would have saved a few quid too?

You do know this don't you? Just wondered why you seem so reluctant to accept the truth?

Can't you read or just daft??
I'll try again, the evidence you are asking for is to be found in the same shambles clotets stay, namely he was part of that management team, ie failed. He was as much of a coach in that set up as he was in appletons set up. AND, also Tuesday night's abysmal performance was his team.
So where does the guesswork/supposition comment come from??

Anyway, it's not our decision, so that's it.

Again I asked for ACTUAL/REAL evidence for your assertion that Faz was 1) cheap and 2) that it is attractive to DE.

NOT supposition and guesswork (or straight made up) which so far is all you have presented.

I hear Lamps has said in an interview on Talksport, that he Spoke to DJ in the summer about the managers job.

The words Barge pole, 4kin, touch, and wouldn't, featured quite heavily in the off air discussions I believe.
