Why isn't the fixture list on the club website.
All it say's fixture list ,yet to be announced.
Ummmm I don't think so. STRANGE....

They just haven't been put on to the actual fixture section of the website yet. I am sure they will get around to doing it at some point.

I just came on here to say that the fixtures aren't on the OWS, I can't even find the news page for when they were there released, wanted to check a couple of dates 🤔

Well that's poor ,I wanted to look at some dates of home fixtures, so I can work around it .
To book a holiday, I mean they've been out weeks now. I know I can find them somewhere else, but that's not the point. Poor again , considering it's the clubs website....

I know it should be easier to find on the club website, but it's quicker looking on the BBC than it is to post on here!

Alternatively, get the fixtures linked to your calendar on your phone. That way any fixture changes automatically update.

Anyone noticed that we are not at home on Saturday 8th February 2025?

This happens to be the 50th anniversary (to both the date and day of the week) of the famous 1-0 victory over Manchester United. Remarkably, we have not had a single home game on 8th February since then! We played away on that date in 1986, 1992, 1997 (which was actually a Friday evening) 2003, 2014, 2020 and now 2025.

The only home games we ever had on 8th February have been the 3-2 win over Bedford Town in 1956 (which was a midweek game) and a 2-1 win v. Workington in 1964.

If anyone can come up with an even longer run of away fixtures on any particular date, it would be interesting to know.

Jumping the gun a bit here. 8th Feb is the FACup 4th round so we may well have a home fixture

That is impressive knowledge if somewhat niche!

I had been looking at the fixture list in the Palermo programme and it shows us as being away to Burnley that day. In the past, clubs from the top two tiers were given a day off on the date of the 4th round but perhaps that policy has been scrapped.

It has been scrapped but we still have a chance of a home tie that day. Maybe I am being over optimistic

Looking at fixtures I think the international break in March is actually a week earlier than shown so weekend of 22 March 2025

  • Within seven days of the 2024/25 Fixture Release selections shall be made in respect of all matches to be played before the end of September.
  • Before the start of the season, selections shall be made in respect of all matches scheduled to be played prior to the end of the third round of the FA Cup (January 2024).
  • By November 1, selections shall be made in respect of all matches to be played between the end of the third round proper of the FA Cup and the first weekend of March.
  • Selections for matches scheduled after the first weekend in March will be made on a four-week rolling basis starting from February 1 (e.g. a selection for the first weekend in April will be selected in the first weekend in March).
ok so first weekend in March is Coventry (H).
second weekend in March is Norwich (A).
so we should know in the weekend of 8 and 9 Feb.

Technincally should we have been told about the Coventry move in November?

sky sports seem to be able to move agreed goalposts as well as kick off times- according to the agreement Nov !st was when the home game V Cov ( Mar !st) should've been announced by. ALL matches to be played between the end of 3rd round proper and first weekend of March - the first WEEKEND in March is 7/8/9th isn't it? ( Norwich Away)- think the p**s-is being taken

nov1 section of the agreement reads-
  • By November 1, selections shall be made in respect of all matches to be played between the end of the third round proper of the FA Cup and the first weekend of March.

Anyway it looks like they've now decided the kick-offs for all the games originally scheduled Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 March. I know some people say the weekend starts on a Friday, but I'd say the weekend is Saturday and Sunday.
