Matches Fixtures Amended

Yes it is Sky but we have just been promoted to a league which is basically a 2nd premier league and one of the most watched leagues in the world. Due to that our kick off times will change and Saturday 3pm KO’s will unfortunately be a luxury.

I don’t agree with it but this is one of the down sides of being promoted. It was to be expected though.
Yep just another nail in the coffin, for the beautiful game. Slowly but surely the game is going.
Especially to accommodate armchair supporter's.

Well this armchair supporter, a long term viewer of ifollow, is still waiting to hear how we are going to watch the Mighty Yellows this season.

Absolutely agree. As a season-ticket holder who lives 65 miles from the Kassam, it's a nightmare, but what most annoys me is this - the relentless degeneration of football into an armchair entertainment.

The game is going where? Stadiums = better, facilities = better, pitches = better. Why is this because of the revenue that the game has attracted from advertising and tv.
Yeah it’s a bit annoying that games get moved for tv - especially when away fans are required to travel long distances. But the idea that the game is dying as a result is objectively rubbish.
Your opinion yes.
Stadiums in the middle of nowhere on industrial estates . No soul , heart ripped out of communities.
Rules changed every couple of years, can't tackle anyone ,can't touch the goalie , cheating, diving,.
Offside rule ,foul throws, Corner kicks not in the D, handball .
Don't get me started ,on refs & var . That's just to name a few. For me bring back the 60s , 70s, 80s , anytime. Alas but not....

The riverside, deepdale, the hawthorns, Vicarage Road, Loftus Road, Stadium of Light, Hillsborough, Bramell Lane, the Den, Fratton Park, Home Park, Elland Road, Ewood Park, Turf Moor and Kenilworth Road are all proper grounds IMO and that is over half of the grounds in the league.

There is a lot to moan about modern football and the things that have come with getting promoted but the stadiums we will be going to isn’t one of them.

Yes that's what happens when you don't move.
Luton won't be there for long.

Maybe time for you to hang up your boots.

Certainly sounds as though you get zero enjoyment from the game any longer 🤷‍♂️

I love oufc it's in my veins, I'm a headington boy.
I'll never lose it, there's obviously a few things for the better. On the whole though, the simple game , has turned to greed . Which in life I'm afraid , destroys. 🤷🏻‍♂️🤯🤷🏻‍♂️🤔

If you think, a footballer, is worth thousands of pounds a week wages.
Above Doctor's, Nurses, carers .Hundreds of meaningful jobs, across the country paid a pittance.
Is justified ?? well I'm shocked, it's only a game after all. So I think I'm right , to be a bit peed of with SKY.
It’s taken you 32 years to realise that due to Sky footballers are so over paid?

Can't argue with that.

It's all skewed, and as you say driven by £££.

Unfortunately a Surgeon performing life saving surgery doesn't have the benefit of fans wanting to buy football shirts with their name on and all the other sport paraphernalia that generates so much.

But who is at fault? us. This is all driven by demand.

SKY CASH COW.....
Sky, the Premier League and the EFL. It's all about the money!

Won't be long until select Premier League games are hosted overseas in the US, Asia, or Saudi, all to expand the global brand of the clubs and the league.

I actually prefer 12:30 kickoffs in a way, like a couple of others have said.

Unless you’ve got an insane distance to travel, you can leave your house at 9am which is reasonable and have 3.5 hours to get to the game. The game is then finished by around 2:30 which gives you the rest of the afternoon to do something, feels like you have more time in the day than with a 3pm kickoff.
