Agreed. That he wouldn't be able to negotiate a deal at least as good as Dale and Rodriguez after that 2nd offer would be farcical.

The website also claims Cam Bran only has one year left on his contract.


EDIT : In fact, it claims all but 7 of our squad only have 1 year remaining on their contract (Tyler, Płacheta, El Miz, Harris, Goulding, Long, Marselino).

Would be surprised if he's not in our top half a dozen or so best paid players given his performances, potential, and that he's been linked with moves to 'bigger' clubs pretty consistently over the last 12-18 months.

You can't base a players salary based on the performance of somebody coming back from injury.
Philipps has been a high quality championship player.

I'd love him to stay fit, as he's clearly a very talented player, but since he's been with us, he's been nothing more than a very talented gingerbread man.

We simply must bring in fit and reliable wide players in January, because even if he stays, for all his obvious ability, he absolutely cannot be trusted to stay fit.

He has a chance now to show what he has to offer and to stay fit.

That is the problematic part though, he seems to get injuries despite playing very few minutes.

At Luton he was excellent. 3 or 4 more of those performances off the bench couod help us win a few pointsm

If the club want to remain in the Championship then there should be no hesitation on releasing players who cannot stay fit.

Thats two or three good performances since he has been here, undoubtedly has talent but you would hope we are already looking at wingers for January who can offer us a bit more.

Have no problem with us seeing what he can do in December though, just don't think we should be relying on a player with his record of playing at 26 years old after that.
