General First Team Injury Updates

Now I can't vouch for the veracity of the figures given on this site but I can't see a £5k pw drop in pay being particularly attractive...
Lol, hope this isnt true ! Moore and Brown are among our best players and allegedly among the worst paid! While Philips is the reverse

Tyler on £2.5k p/w?! Not sure I buy that following two new contracts in the last 12 months or so.
Agreed. That he wouldn't be able to negotiate a deal at least as good as Dale and Rodriguez after that 2nd offer would be farcical.

The website also claims Cam Bran only has one year left on his contract.

EDIT : In fact, it claims all but 7 of our squad only have 1 year remaining on their contract (Tyler, Płacheta, El Miz, Harris, Goulding, Long, Marselino).

That website says Murphy is on £5k a week at Portsmouth. We really should be questioning our recruitment team on how they let him get away for such a relatively low wage.

Another example of why this website is extremely, extremely questionable.

Let's not get our knickers in a twist about goings on at the club based on a load of made-up numbers.

Robinson would of got slaughtered for paying that much to a 33 year old well past his best.

Is Woltman still injured? I know he was signed for future but he’s 21 so what’s the story, is he any good? Also, is Robbie Fowlers son still at the club?

So Edwards back in training this week - may be available for Saturday
You'll forgive me if I don't get my hopes up regarding this.

I'd love him to stay fit, as he's clearly a very talented player, but since he's been with us, he's been nothing more than a very talented gingerbread man.

We simply must bring in fit and reliable wide players in January, because even if he stays, for all his obvious ability, he absolutely cannot be trusted to stay fit.

There are a lot of games in December.
He has a chance now to show what he has to offer and to stay fit.
Even if he stays fit in December, he has enough ability and is different enough to win us some extra points.

Don't disagree.
But let's see. I won't write him off totally.
At Luton he was excellent. 3 or 4 more of those performances off the bench couod help us win a few pointsm

Thats two or three good performances since he has been here, undoubtedly has talent but you would hope we are already looking at wingers for January who can offer us a bit more.

Have no problem with us seeing what he can do in December though, just don't think we should be relying on a player with his record of playing at 26 years old after that.
