General First Team Injury Updates

Wow. When you see it written out like that…

Strong case for at least four, if not five, of them being nailed on starters, regardless of whoever else is fit and the formation we play.

Feels like Phillips, Placheta, and Cam could be back after the international break, and from the little we do know I’d hope Dembele and Edwards rent far away.

I guess in our favour is that if a few of these are fit enough to be training, they have a good couple of weeks to ramp it up.

Bit harsh. I'm quite happy for them to live locally!!

Get them all back and we’ll be top 6 😉

Ben Nelson *was* sent for a scan after coming off on Tuesday, according to Leicester correspondent for The Athletic, Rob Tanner on Twitter.

we’re going to have to be ruthless come January, we simply can’t afford to carry so many injury’s if we want to stay up. I assume any players outside of the 25 man squad still count fully towards our playing budget.

I've tried to tidy up the opening post a bit, pinned to the top, and renamed this thread. This could be useful to keep up-to-date.

Thanks @billyturleyscurlywurly for putting in the work to start the thread, much appreciated.
Well done...

Can you edit to list in 'due back' order 🙂

Just thought I’d note down the injury list as it seems a full club update will be reported to us by the end of this weekend.

I was thinking about our injuries the other day, my impression was that the majority of injuries happened at the Kassam, the above confirms that to be the case.

9 injuries, 6 occurred at the Kassam, 2 away, 1 in training.

Probably nothing in it and just the way these things turn out especially the contact injuries, but in an idle moment* I did start to wonder about the Kassam pitch with its grass/synthetic mix and if that in anyway contributed to the injuries.

*Peculiar middle-aged man with awful opinion.😉

That’s interesting, is it a usual sort of pitch these days? Do away teams suffer more than usual injuries on it?
