... seems like our owners grasp of time is catching

you rightly mention the state of the pitch/playing surface and its deterioration..... wasnt it at the nov oxvox open members meeting where the chap (at the time) heading the oxford university team of groundsmen informed that when the pitch was relaid a few seasons ago it was done to the correct specifications, also that the maintanance the pitch had had, up to that point,hadnt been carried out correctly for the surface installed? .......... Oxford university groundstaff were relieved of their maintance duties (by the stadium company?) a few days after that meeting ..... deteriorating playing surface certainly isnt good, or helpful for the fight to stay in league 1 .... probably lower on the agenda than other outgoings (HMRC bills for example) ...nonetheless the pitch needs some serious refurbishment imo

The pitch needing refurbishment seems to have been an on-going theme over the years. Here we go again.

The pitch was not laid to a decent spec in the first place. Costs about £100k to lay a proper pitch apparently.

Been reading your fans view for sometime but being new to the forum I can now comment..
