Fan's View FANS VIEW 25-26: SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY (HOME)

On the Bromley away capacity issue, amusing as the song was given the fact only 600 can go it does throw an issue up with the away membership, why should people pay £30 to not be guaranteed a ticket for all the games? If the club does away with it because we are in a lower division then it will be a scramble for Bromley, Wimbledon and whatever other tiny away allocations there are.

You're right, but on the other hand is it worth all the admin time and cost to set it up for what, two or three games at most?

600 times £30 is £18,000, minus tax you would hope that covers that but I wouldn't know. I suppose it sorts out any potential play offs cup games etc? We shall see where they go with it now we have been relegated I suppose.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but i think the only away games in recent years we haven't made it to general sale were
Peterborough POSF 2023/24
Leeds away 2024/25 due to not taking up additional capacity
Millwall away 2025/26
I'd prefer a points based system that rewards away attendance and ST holders.

But I've also paid £30 each season for my away membership to take the hassle out of having to login at midday on a set day of the week.

It's up to £30k of gross revenue if capped at 1000 - can't remember if it sold out in the end this year, but I think it did go onsale again after a renewal period?

So for Bromley, we could be looking at 600, with priority to 1000 away ST holders, so a scramble again.

A bit harsh to say Wednesday were the worst away team you've ever seen! Maybe (definitely!) the worst at this level though.

The 5-0 victory over Stockport County was on the last day of 1the 1998-99 season:
