Thanks as ever Paul for articulating the thoughts of many.To be positive, we can relax on Saturday and enjoy the match as a contest without worrying about ifs and buts and maybes elsewhere
Another deflating away trip. Not enough to be talking about “good effort” and the lads did their best. Either KR has to radically change his mentality/tactics or we are stuck in this league. And while I’ve enjoyed some sparkling football against the weaker teams this season, please anybody, don’t claim that’s enough.
It was always going to be hard to get promotion, with so many good teams also going for it, but we could have managed a much better effort. I expected a barnstorming late run as in the last two seasons - I wonder if Karl did as well? Thanks Paul. So disappointing. And so frustrating when we could have made promotion this season. Are we destined to continue to be the not quite good enough team? Really fed up with KR's excuses. "It feels like we let people down". Too right.
I honestly can't remember that.Good write up as usual Paul.
When you said that we didn't have a chance after our goal, you seem to be missing the Ryan Williams chance in the second half.
I thought that he should have scored , which at the time would have put us 2 1 up.
