“With no-one to press we didn’t seem to know what to do....” It’s not as if Evans’ tactics were a surprise. So why didn’t Robinson seem to have a plan to counter the hit-and-hope football? A good manager should be able to counter EVERY style of opposing teams’ styles if a top six place is expected. Some of our most depressing defeats have been when KR has been out-thought.
But.... we’re still in the chase - just. One slip now, however, and we’ll be looking back on the Swindon, Northampton, etc matches and wondering what if ......
