General Fans returning

Other clubs managed when we could have at the same time but all we got from NMW was that we weren’t ready but all the other clubs managed, its pretty poor from the club.
Most other clubs dont have a slum landlord who apparently insists 'everything' (stadium wise) is approved by him.......as well as a chairman who apparently also insits 'everything' has his approval first -as well as his grasp of timespans, in the real world, isnt that accurate either

In relation to the first point:
- Shrewsbury had a test game with 1000 spectators earlier this season. The success of this meant they were happy to go straight up to 2000 now that fans are permitted in stadia.
- My understanding was that tickets for last nights were sold first come first serve to season ticket holders BUT anyone who had attended the pilot game was ruled out.

Of the clubs who are in Tier 2 and therefore permitted up to 2000 fans:
AFC Wimbledon - Awaiting safety certificate for new stadium before any fans can be in.
Charlton - Held a successful 1000 fan pilot earlier in the season, 2000 in last v MK Dons.
Crewe - Described as "able to accommodate all season ticket holders who are able to attend the fixture" on Saturday 12th.
Ipswich - Expecting to be allowed 2000 straight in for Saturday 12th. Ballot system for Season Ticket holders.
MK Dons - 2000 straight in for Tinpot trophy game on Tuesday 8th.
Northampton - Pilot event of 1000 on Saturday 5th.
Oxford - Pilot event of 1000 on Saturday 5th (Previous one cancelled due to changes in government restrictions)
Peterborough - Pilot event of 1000 on Tuesday 8th in Tinpot trophy.
Plymouth - Pilot event of 1808 on Saturday 5th. Tickets first come, first serve to season ticket holders.

Portsmouth - 2000 straight in on Saturday 5th. Tickets sold to 2 randomly selected season tickets groups, then any remaining went first come, first serve.
Shrewsbury - Held a successful 1000 fan pilot earlier in the season, 2000 in last night v Accrington.
Swindon - No details yet, next home game Saturday 12th.

So of the 12 clubs allowed fans:
- 2 already held pilots.
- 4 more having pilots.
- 4 straight in
- 1 no details.
- 1 not permitted fans until safety certificate granted.

Clubs now in Tier 3:
Blackpool held a successful 1000 fan pilot v Swindon on 19th September.
Accrington and Hull both had planned pilots on 26th September that were cancelled.

For further context, Plymouth's piece on return of fans said the following:

"In order to receive approval for fans’ return on a permanent basis, the club is required to undertake a test event, at 50% of our socially-distanced capacity, which currently stands at 3,616 – as a result, Saturday’s temporary capacity will be 1,808.
The socially-distanced capacity of Home Park takes into account a number of key areas, including usable seats, holding capacity, access flow, egress flow, and concourse socially-distanced capacity.
The make-up of supporters’ social bubbles – information that was provided to us earlier this year – determines the number of usable seats, under Tier Two guidelines.
The test event will be assessed by members of the SGSA on Saturday, as well as the local authority. Should the test event be successful, we will be granted approval to raise the capacity to the government-sanctioned figure of 2,000 for fixtures thereafter – therefore it is imperative that supporters abide by the code of conduct and safety measures."

And beyond that
"The team is already in the process of planning for the next stage of fans’ return, including a larger capacity, when restrictions are lifted. Prior to caps being applied to numbers, the club had successfully mapped almost 5,000 supporters to the stadium, based on COVID-secure guidelines. Please rest assured that the 3,616 capacity only stands with match-day operations as they currently exist, and will be altered in due course."
