Fans Forum Fans forum - Thursday March 19th

Will the Head Of Football Operations be in attendance for this one?

Last time, I recall his absence was palmed off as it wasn't 'the specific fans forum to discuss football' - but Gary Rowett (to his enormous credit) still had to front up on behalf of his boss.

Would seem rather odd for the most senior employee on the footballing side of the club to be absent once again...

I'm flying back from Spain so can't attend, but can someone tell Tim Williams that shutting down a question about poor communication by simply stating - 'I don't think there is.' is the best evidence available that communication (not social media videos, or MARCOMs but actual communication to stakeholders / supporters) is incredibly poor.

Just an audio stream or a recording uploaded afterwards to download would suffice, the videos have been fairly poor so please concentrate on getting the sound right and not video, might help with the crap wifi

Really disappointed that I will not be able to attend this. I had my emergency eye surgery on Sunday evening (got back from Sri Lanka Saturday evening) and, fortunately, they have saved the sight in my left eye (right is ok, for the moment) The detached retina was pretty much fully detached and the surgery to put it back was quite an ordeal. I now have to wait up to 6 months to see if the eye fully recovers. Right now I have gas behind the retina to push it back into place and have to spend 90% of the time lying down on my right side to allow this to work. Mrs L is glaring at me as I type! She has been an absolute star, waiting on me hand and foot.
One small upside of this was the 10mg of Diazepam I was given shortly before surgery - talk about away with the fairies!

Anyway, the Forum, I'm sure @Sarge will ask the right questions along with all the other 'usual suspects' - I'm counting on you folks to get answers! I would like to know what the Board and management have for contingency plans with respect to staying up or (please no) relegation. There are some very important financial implications to consider. And, I really don't want to hear from Tim or Grant that it's no big deal if we do go down. It will be a huge set back and a financial catastrophe. How many players would simply walk away? Where would the next loan players come from? What will happen to the major sponsors?

Another factor to consider, what if the new stadium is not ready in time? Has Kassam given any indication of flexibility in extending the lease/licence? And, related to the stadium, how far along are the financial negotiations for funding the build? Can we get any indication?

It would also be, perhaps, good to know what the position is of the other investors? We know that Thohir has taken control from a position of stockholding but, are the other major investors now silent partners or are they still involved and to what extent?

I too, will be looking for a stream of the event, hopefully with decent sound and images.

glad to hear all went well @Manorlounger - bonus getting the diazepam!

Hoping Im wrong that potential time in which to ask questions may be curtailed a bit by TW waffling as well as the new COO doing a lengthy presentation. At recent FFs there have been questions that went unasked due to time constraints. Heres hoping thursday nights is informative and all fans questions get to be put to those on the top table

Until the project is completely free of any challenges, legal or otherwise, I wouldn't imagine any information regarding the club's interaction with it's landlord will come into the public domain. A vague "We remain in contact with Mr Kassam at all times" is the best you should expect.

Must have been terrifying for you! Glad things seem to be on the mend, and just keep enjoying the medication while you're on it! Best of luck with the rest of your recovery 💛💙

Wowserz hope you fully recover my friend

Please ask this Q

This is an official club fans forum so why aren't they sorting broadband and the stream? Also if it's not possible why not do it elsewhere where you can?

Question to be asked please if possible.....
Why isn't anything being done with the usual empty seats in the south lower each home game?surely it's best to reduce the price to get them filled, than leave them empty?

Is there somewhere we can submit questions ahead of time? Might not be able to make it but have a couple questions regarding the stadium

Wow, that's one hell of an ordeal. Good luck with the recovery, hope it goes quickly and well.

And rightly so - that's not the sort of information you want being discussed in the public domain at a commercially sensitive time.

wonder if the club accounts (June24-June 25) will be shared at tonights FF?

IMO accounts should be discussed at Shareholders AGM ( the club didnt hold a shareholders AGM last year - TBF theyre not legally obliged to do hold AGMs annually. Nonetheless... )

My concern is TW may waffle on about his specialist subject at length, thus impinging on time that should be for Fans asking questions
