Given our chairman/owner having a proven inability to grasp the concept of real-time, will it actually start on time? It'll definitely be cut short as theres the matter of a football match ongoing
IF Robinson is supposedly attending the fans forum, then who is doing the pre-match ( his first home game in charge) team talk?
Most who go to matches have something of a pre-match ritual (for luck) that will be interrupted by holding a fans forum on the same day as a match. League 1 survival hinges on amassing a certain amount of points, so why f**k about with fans and supporters superstitions ?????,
Questions, of which there are plenty, will not have enough time to be given proper consideration, so this pre-match Fans Forum is no more than a PR exercise, paying lip service to what should be the opportunity to ask questions of those with the answers, yet - & given its a bank holiday too, with travelling by public transport limited to a Sunday service- whoever decided on holding a pre match fans forum certainly HASNT got OUFC supporters interests in mind
Nor that of local to the breeze block businesses who rely on home matches for the bulk of their income
Maybe Tiger should make himself available for a fans forum on a NON match day?
Nonetheless KR will slope off( to work) from the fans forum before the fans forum has run its full course. IF the fans forum is limited to a time span ( which could equate to anything given the owners' proven inability to adhere to time spans) this pre-match fans forum is highly likely to be a PR box-ticking exercise, with no real substance....... IF the start time is too early it will deprive interested parties relying on public transport of having their say.Team talks aren’t held 2.5 hours before a game. In fact most managers don’t speak to the players until about an hour or so before a game and generally leave them to go through their own preparations before going in to speak to them once the warm up is done.
Most of the team talk and instructions are done the day before a game.

I suspect Faz will be doing this anyway with KR observing/saying the odd thing.
Good news that one is being held, even if the timing is less than ideal. I hope Tiger has prepared a bit more for this one. Plus I hope we find out a lot more about how the club is going to be financed now and in the future, and just what are the plans to bring long term success to the club.
After the initial car crash of a take over there are some positive signs in the last couple of weeks. We must however remain skeptical and questioning until the big questions like the finance have been adequately answered. Everything good so far could come crashing down if it is not backed by money in a way that does not bankrupt the club.
Its far too early to claim the new owner is good for the club until we get the big picture and a lot more answers (and Dave T that for me would apply to any owner).
if he, Tiger, wants to ingratiate himself best he avoids handing out Carabao and instead some of this ....bowl of Thai green curry and a can of Carabao for everyone that turns up. He's been told by Slippery that the fans will love it, nearly as much as his hot dog and a pint gimmick.
Sunday maybe but by next Friday Robinson will be taking the team fully I’d imagine.
Exactly my point!!!!Think a lot of people will be put off by the timing. 1015 am finish, then linger around until kick off.
Yet again the supporters are being given scraps, that may be good enough for Dave T, but for some of us we have no chance of getting to the ground for that time and then to spend time waiting around for the game to start. As Sarge states fans forums should be held on non match days with at least 4 weeks notice.Exactly my point!!!!
Public transport is reduced to that of Sunday service on a bank holiday, so many interested fans will NOT be able to make the start time
And if our chairman is relying on public transport, whats the betting the forum start is delayed????
