FA Cup FA Cup Third Round Draw 2025

Not a great draw for us but what a great draw otherwise. Lots of brilliant away days for some of the smallest clubs in the EFL and a minnow like Tamworth at home to Tottenham. You’ve got your regulation huge tie in Arsenal v Man Utd and a fantastic draw for Harrogate going 15 miles down the road to Leeds.

Agree.

Some lovely draws in there offering a great day for lower league teams. This is what it is all about.

As for us, an utterly rancid draw. Maybe an opportunity to give some of our players returning from injury some game time.

Other than that I am not really bothered.

Not unhappy with the draw. Hope Des gives a start to Goodwin and maybe Golding to consolidate the squad. A win would be nice but the league has to be the priority.

It could have been worse . Coventry or Peterborough away.
A very winnable game, and whist the league is the priority, why not have a Cup run as well?

Positives:
Winnable
Old-school ground with covered away terrace behind the goal
Nice city, decent pubs
Easy day trip from Oxford (and even easier for me!)
Not a team in our league, so not somewhere we'll otherwise go this season

Negatives:
Not glamourous
Have played there recently
Trains not cheap from Oxford
Potential banana skin

All in all, could be better, could be worse. Hardly the horror draw some people are painting (for those who go to away games at least)

Arsenal v Man Utd
Tamworth v Spurs

Those two ties are shoe ins for tv.

Also, Liverpool v Accrington Stanley

Manchester City v Salford,
Newcastle United v Bromley
Chelsea v Morecambe,
are all basically the same type of game as Liverpool v Accy, so no point showing them.

I think the Norwich game would be a good game, chance of an upset, both teams play good football too.
Norwich City v Brighton & Hove Albion

Possibly one of the following too:
Everton v Peterborough United
Crystal Palace v Stockport County
Bristol City v Wolverhampton Wanderers

It's an annoying one for buying train tickets. They're dead cheap at the moment but need to wait just in case it's moved for whatever reason and then factor in possible extra time and penalties.
I can't see it being anything other than a 3pm ko. But using trainline you should be able to amend any bookings
