FA Cup FA Cup Third Round Draw 2025

Usually 2 weekends left blank for prem and champ clubs for rds 3 and 4. lets get thro rd 3 then a big one. Spurs , Arsenal away maybe as many will not have been to these grounds. easy to get to, make some money, then bow out. We do not have a large enough squad for a cup run beyond this.

Fulham away, prem team, not far away, London away day, good chance it will be 3pm on a Saturday, we will get a big allocation that we will sell out, they will put a weak team out so we have an outside chance of actually winning plus we never play them so the chance to tick off a new ground (or revisit it now it looks very different for the very old amongst our fan base).

It will be Peterborough if they are still in it, if not some other league one club.

Man united
Tottenham
Liverpool
Man City
Arsenal
Chelsea
Any of those away . Have a good day out take the money and concentrate on survival this season

Agreed. Our sole ambition is to attempt to stay up if we can. The cup would be a distraction and the extra games a bit of a nuisance.

Failing that, get the current awful Swindon team to the Kassam and properly f*****g thrash them.

Don't believe that's the case - 4th round is scheduled for the weekend of Saturday February 8th, and that's when we're currently supposed to play Burnley (A)

But, given that there's got to be a better than evens chance that Burnley win their third round tie (as they're certainly one of the best 32 teams in the country), chances are that that game's getting moved anyhow.

I'd still agree with you though, and will be hoping for us to play at home in Round 3 against whichever plucky Non-League club wins this weekend. Chance to get on TV, probably victory and a chance to get some of our more fringe players a game. Then one of the biggest teams away in Round 4.

Please please please give us swindon so we can humiliate them in that most awful hours

This has to be the draw we want - home or away. We aren’t playing them in league football anytime soon and as you say there is no better time to play them given the current status of both clubs. Given Des is an Oxford man I think he’d go full strength against them too, he wouldn’t risk an upset.

I'd much prefer to draw a League One/Two side in the next round than Premier League, a chance to win a game and get some confidence back in the players, whilst also being a chance to make a few changes and give the likes of Golding, Currie, Marselino and Goodwin a start
