Kings X to Newcastle is the best bet if we do play them
Both fine to take, although for Sunderland I took the Newcastle direct train and it's a very long time sat in the same spot! Going via London breaks the journey up and it certainly *feels* faster despite it being roughly the same time.Direct train from Oxford would better for a lot of fans I would imagine.
"Newcastle's only previous meeting with Oxford came at the same stage of this competition in 2016/17, with the U's winning 3-0 at the Kassam Stadium "
Eh?

Eh?
Looking at all ties, this is the one I would televise
There's no trains from Kings Cross, and National Rail are advising to avoid London at all costs on that weekend.
That's me out then!
We used to have a girl who came to The Manor with us a few times and she asked why are you singing 'Half of Oxfords got the f*****g pox"?
I'm an exile, and was able to get the game vs. Hartlepool streamed on Vipbox.tv, with no annoying pop-up ads and good quality (at least in the second half...the quality from the mighty yellows left a little to be desired in the first half) and so there's no reason to think that the game vs. Newcastle (or even Rochdale) won't be equally available.
How many games are televised? I would guess that if it is Newcastle then we'd have a half decent chance of being picked.
Who else will be picked?
Bristol City/Shrewsbury v Liverpool
Tranmere (if they win) v Man Utd (if they win)
Man City v Fulham
Coventry (if they win) v Birmingham
Few stand out games, and we are not only a decent side to watch but would also have a half decent chance, and only 3 years since we beat Newcastle at the same stage.
Doesn't Megabus go in that direction?
The excellent nufc.com says "fair to say that we'll never have a better chance of making a first Fifth Round appearance since Mike Ashley bought the club in May 2007."
