Karl masterminding an FA Cup “giant killing” hammering of Leyton Orient 4-0, chance we could get them in the 3rd round draw Monday night.

Personally would take the glamour tie in the third round as Rowatt isn’t exactly a cup manager so hopefully get a glamour tie and good away day at one of the big boys.

Not Brighton at home though.

Surely its our turn for a decent draw?! My annual request for a London club away!

Fulham for me, haven’t played them since some of the elder statesmen on here were in short trousers. Although any of the London teams, Manchester or Liverpool ones away would do.

My preference

Scum h
Man City a
Man united a
Arsenal a
Brighton a
Tottenham a
West Ham a

Or any s**t team from the lower leagues at home

Would be nice to get Scumdon at home.
I disagree.

It would be too much of a distraction from our day job. Also the way Gary Rowett treats the cup games there's every chance that he'd field a weakened team and we'd end up losing. All of the jeopardy is with us.

We hold the whip hand over the six fingered, web footed, hunch backed, mutant, yokels and have nothing to prove against them. I don't care if we never play them again.

Any championship side = s**t draw.
Any League one side = meh draw
Any premier league side = good draw (with the exception of Brighton at home)
Any league 2 side = good draw
Any non league side = good draw

Bit simplified as you have differences within and everyone will have personal wishes but I will have no complaints if we avoid championship teams, league one teams and Brighton at home, which is 47 and a half of the potential games. Shows you need to be quite lucky to get a good one.

Selhurst Park is a good day out
Last time I went to Selhust Park, was around Easter time, they walked round throwing Easter Eggs into the crowd but walked straight past the Oxford fans without doing it, we were in the open and had sunshine, rain, hail, snow, and strong winds all in the 90mins, and we lost the game with a limp performance.

I sure not all trips are like that, but it hasn't encouraged me to go back 🤣

Couldn't agree more. I genuinely see them as a bit of an inconsequence these days. Long may that feeling continue.

What year was that? I can’t think when the last time Palace played Oxford at Selhurst? Apart from the recent (ish) cup game I remember a game at the Manor in 1990 I think it was. Ian Wright got a brace I think.

Man U away would be pretty exciting, come on. Even I’d go to that. We’ve done Arsenal and Spurs away - maybe away to West Ham in the municipal stadium with its s**t running track. Or the likes of Bromley at home.

The one and only time I went to Selhurst Park was mid 90s?

Palace 2 Oxford 2 (Massey maybe scored one)

We haven’t done either of Arsenal or Spurs new grounds, nor West Ham, Everton, Brighton, Brentford.

To be fair it’s been so long since we played at most of them that they would be new grounds to a huge amount of our supporters.

Agree , there is also Man City who we have never played at the Etihad. You also have a few grounds that have changed alot since we last played there, Liverpool, Fulham and Wolves for example.

I'm sure we will get a boring draw of the likes of Bromley at home for example.
