For me, if there is a positive thing about this competition, is that it's a good chance to get some of our squad players who aren't getting regular games in the league a competitive run around.

So I would definitely want Long, Moore, Forde, Sykes, Mackie, Agyei & Hall in there.
Add Gorrin, because he can't play on Saturday, and it'll keep his eye in.

Playing those eight comfortably satisfies the 'Qualifying player' requirement, and avoids us getting fined as well.

Stevens & Nico Jones would then make a lot of sense - so that just leaves left back. If we can use Berkoe - job done. If we can't, then maybe we play Cadden, and shift Long to left back?

The rest of Saturday's team gets a well-earned rest ahead of the congested December fixture list; but I still think that team should be strong enough to beat an Exeter side that will logically be treating the competition as a similar lower priority.

Exeter will be concentrating on the fa cup ...wont they?
