I can't believe nobody has mentioned ex- England manager Steeeeeeeeeve McClaren.
Ha.
Somebody really had too much time on their hands!
Martin Foyle, York City play off final if I remember correctly.congrats to Sam... and only his first job as manager too
how many former OUFC players have gone onto become football Managers or assistant managers( to a good, indifferent, and not all that standard) ?
Heres five for starters :-
Ron Atkinson
Jimmy Barron
Martin Foyle
Mark Wright
Dean Saunders
Sam Allardice moving to Shropshire. Thats a fall from grace. Well done to the Shrewsbury Board of Directors. A real coup.Out for a Christmas office meal last night with 2 Shrews fans. They believe that Sam will be unveiled as Shrewsbury's new Manager tomorrow.

Wrexham fans not happy. Club asked him to stay away from their big FA Cup tie last night. Tricky one for him. Wrexham have him an opportunity and he’s jumped ship 6 months in. Suppose he would argue it’s a promotion and he’s couldn’t turn it down.
I believe a decent sell on clause was added into each of the sales of O'Dowda, Roofe, Lundstram and Johnson (LOL).https://www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport...ws/lee-johnson-clarifies-bristol-city-2347230
Interesting on O'Dowda -
He was announced as signing a three year deal upon joining in 2016 but has a one year contract option. Yeah [he has a one year option deal]. We’ll either sell him for fortunes or give him a new contract.
any sell-on clauses ?

Salford’s attacking options now are a bit silly for the conference
