Former U's youth team player Marvin Ekpiteta signs for Blackpool from Leyton Orient.
There was talk at the weekend that he was off to Hamilton in the SPL on a season long loan. Can't see it myself.Ledson started again for Preston and their fans are fuming the manager took him off, seems they rate him but just a bit too much competition for him to be regular first choice

Signed to be back up to their two main keepers. Strange move really as he could have easily taken a number 1 shirt somewhere in L1
Left a huge mark on English football (not).Tsun Dai has left Wolves for Shenzhen FC
£££ surely
There is a major problem though. If we’re all concerned about the stabilty of football outside the top two divisions then you can bet your a**e that players are too. Theyre going to want to know that there will be matches and theyre going to get paid every week. Getting players to drop down from the championship if they are getting interest from other teams in the championship, even as back-up, will be difficult. Having said that, life is going to get very difficult for pro footballers unfortunately and theres probably going to be a scramble for any lifeboat they can get into, but I’m genuinely worried that the non-league trap door might have shifted up a couple of divisions!Exactly. Being a 'keeper is the only position where you're either in or out. You don't see many second choice goalies come on to shore up a defence or waste a few seconds. If you can get paid more for being third choice over first, why not take it?
I've seen some on here talking of Archer being an option. He was an assured presence and did a decent job for us, but we're perhaps overcelebrating him. We were doing well at the time and he actually didn't have tonnes to do. It's hard to therefore judge exactly what sort of keeper he is. That said, he's got a promotion from League 1 under his belt with Millwall and deemed good enough to move to a Championship club. If the wages were right, could he be an option ... ?
