Brentford not far having a punt at the land of milk & honey in the trough of greed, nice new ground, probably doubled their salaries or more. Nope can`t see why they went......
Plus Fosu is from Wandsworth which is about six miles from Brentford, while Baptiste is from east Reading and the M4 quite literally goes past both the current and new Brentford stadiums, and so is quicker to get to than Oxford is.

But apart from all of those things they’ll be riddled with regret. Poor lads.

I know right, can imagine they pine every day for a league 1 mid table battle where the board have basically said theyre not fussed re going up.

Gutted i imagine.

As the game was 90+5 they actually got six minutes of game time.
Fosu is on 3 1/2 year contract with option of further year. So to June 2023.
Baptiste is on contract to June 2024. plus option of another year.

Obviously the salaries will be higher in the Championship, but perhaps the length of the contracts means they took a bit less for the long term security?

Also it could mean OUFC are waiting quite a while if they are hoping for a sell on. But on the other hand if they do well, it could be an easy buy in the Summer for a Premier League club (probably bottom half) looking for goalscorers.

Checked up on Jordan Archer yesterday, really disappointing to see him not even on the bench for Fulham; he's 3rd choice keeper. Only 26 so looks like a massive waste.

With the prospect of Easty going at the end of the season it might be in the interest for the club to enquire about Archer.

Baptiste came off the bench for Brentford who were 0-2 down, finished 2-2. Thought he played well + looks like Brentford fans want him starting
They were singing his praises in the last game he played all the game and they like what they see and say he’s better than one of his regular players.

I wonder why it has been such a struggle for some of our better players from the past to establish themselves in the Championship. John Lundstram seems to have adapted better to the Premier league than the Championship. So how good were they?
