Mark Sykes out for the last games for Briistol city due to injury

Canice Carroll leaves Oxford City.

Not sure quite what was going on but on Soccerbase it looked like he went to Salisbury for four months in the middle of the season and then went back to Oxford City.

The lower down the leagues you go, the dodgier the stats get on Soccerbase.

Ian McGuckin had a hell of a productive loan spell at Hartlepool for example 😳.

I believe Carroll left City at the end of the 2023-24 season. He joined Salisbury as a free agent in October 2024 and then rejoined City from them in February 2025.

Was going to say - Soccerbase for anything under Conference National isn't worth using

Herbie Kane rightly called out for an attempted tackle on Orient full-back Ethan Galbraith:

Galbraith is a class act. Even at international level.
Can play anywhere and looked comfortably the best player on the pitch against Switzerland. Playing behind Lee Bonis.
Was surprised we came away from Leyton Orient with El Mizouni.

Bit of an over reaction by the Orient fan to be honest; Kane was running through treacle and didn’t get anywhere near him, the lack of reaction from Orient’s bench reflects that.

The London accent has certainly changed over recent years going off that local Orient fan.
As for trying to break his leg, it was an attempted foul but you can see him just trying to flick how foot at him to trip him up.

As Eaststanding says, over reaction.

Just your average 'influencer' with their clickbaity over sensationalised annoying false outraged drama from nothing. A complete nothing burger.
The tackle is a last ditch effort but is total amateur hour and tries to clip a foot. If the tackle did connect, we've all seen enough to know it would only cause the player to trip and fall. Nothing from the fans suggest it was a dirty career ending tackle and I'd even go as far as to say it was enjoyed.
Checking his twitter, there's a clip where an Orient player does try a tackle that could break an ankle.

Darrell Clarke has gone back to Bristol Rovers, the same Clarke who has signed Taylor on a few times in his career, would p**s myself if he went back there given all the s**t the fans have given him in the past. Probably not though as he is 35 now, Cheltenham have made him available as a free but he still has a year left on his contract, probably end up out on loan in non league.

It didn't really work for him at Port Vale under Clarke as well.
At least he has another years contract

Didn't he go to Forest Green after the Vale loan deal/he left here? Then went to Cheltenham after half a season there? Might even have played for two relegated sides in the same season last year? It was obvious his legs were going his last half season here, could still finish but getting on the end of them was getting harder, unfortunately time catches up with everyone, so was strange when he got a two and a half year deal that took him just past his 36th birthday at his age.

Maybe he can get a pay off and then go and play a final season with his mate James Henry at Aldershot, could see them offering some goal threat at that level in short spells and he obviously won't be travelling far at this stage.

Hes only 27

Preston fans absolutely rinsing him on their fans forum. They seem an odd bunch on there, with some unable to have a reasoned discussion without resorting to insults.
Haven’t seen much of him since he left us, but they’re not complimentary about him.
