Rather hilariously, Watford made a similar mistake in the return fixture. Again from the very excellent www.oxfordkits.com...Wasn't obvious from the picture, but the link to that page does go on to picture the kit clash and shows the Watford gold shirt clash with our yellow home shirt.
when we played them in the FA Cup= the game the wall at London rd end collapsed, (ended up a draw if memory serves)-wasnt that the game where both teams wore changed kit- Blue n White & Red & White, or am I getting memories of the Manor days confused n cross polinated?Rather hilariously, Watford made a similar mistake in the return fixture. Not sure I buy that argument. Looking at the match-by-match pictures, although we mostly played away games with yellow shirt and yellow or blue shorts, similar to home games. I would say the "away shorts" were the white kit. Those are away shorts. We sometimes played in all yellow away, if there was a clash of shorts.
Ah but can he do it on a cold lunchtime in Stoke?CAPTAIN SCARLETT SCORES AGAIN FOR ENGLAND'S ELITE LEAGUE SQUAD

Wearing the captain's armband, Dane Scarlett's fine form on the international scene continues at pace as he once again scored in an England shirt.
For the 11th time in as many games while representing England's Under-21 and the England Elite League squad, the forward found the back of the net as he struck the opener for the Elite Squad in a 1-1 draw with Portugal on Friday afternoon.
At a rain-soddened Magalhães Pessoa Stadium in Leiria, Portugal, Dane was in the right place at the right time to guide home from close range with seven minutes on the clock.
That was the striker's ninth goal in his last seven appearances for what were formerly England's Under-20s.
Diogo Monteiro levelled for hosts Portugal on 32 minutes with Dane, on his 21st appearance at that level, being substituted on the hour mark.
Ashley Phillips played the full 90 minutes, picking up his fourth cap at that level.
The yellow shorts were definitely away shorts only, just for minimal colour clashes. I certainly can't recall us ever wearing yellow shorts at home. Not sure I buy that argument. Looking at the match-by-match pictures, although we mostly played away games with yellow shirt and yellow or blue shorts, similar to home games. I would say the "away shorts" were the white kit.

I see now. So home kit was yellow shirt blue shorts. Away kit yellow shirt and either yellow or blue shorts. Occasionally the white kit. (Or Watford kit).We didn't wear them at Home over the season and used them far more than the white kit away![]()
Yes I remember that now you mention it. Obviously more common that we think.Sheffield Wednesday wore our away shorts in 1987

Yeah sorry I worded that very poorly, I meant as a one-off in the season. Think we were all yellow for a season with the Singha shirts as well? Never liked the whole yellow kits. The all-yellow Nike Bridle home kit from 2012/13 being an exception that springs to mind.

Ah yes, I see now. Indeed, 2018/19 I believe it was. A quick scroll through oxfordkits shows this was also the case between '73 and '75, though both were long before my time, so I wouldn't have known without the blessed archives.Yeah sorry I worded that very poorly, I meant as a one-off in the season. That is the most Chris Wilder squad I have ever seen. The all-yellow Nike Bridle home kit from 2012/13 being an exception that springs to mind.

An absolute classic of the
Guaranteed League 2 mid-table finish.

Pleased for WhingyMarcus Browne has just smashed one in with a cracking finish for Wimbledon vs Barrow. Against the run of play. Nearly scored another cracker in the first half but a good save kept it out.
Edit: Wimbledon blew it after going 2-0 up. Barrow scored their 1st in the 88th minute and the equaliser in the 90+5th minute.
Jerome ( fried chicken ) Sinclair is now playing in the ballers league for VZN FC
Yea i dunno either![]()
