So with only 9 games to play, the season has been declared VOID, with no champions and no relegation from or to the Dutch top division.

But the European places have been "given".
Ajax (currently top) go into the Champions League play-offs.
AZ Alkmaar (Currently second behind Ajax on goal difference) go into the 2nd round of the Champions league
preliminary rounds.
Feyenoord (3rd) Straight into the Europe League groups phase.
PSV Eindhoven (4th) into the 3rd preliminary round of the Europe League.
Willem II (Tilburg) 5th into the 2nd preliminary round of the Europe League (this will be their first time into Europe)
FC Utrecht (6th) miss out on a European ticket because the KNVB Cup Final between Feyenoord and Utrecht will not be played. Feyenoord in 3rd place would go into Europe anyway and so FC Utrecht would normally go into Europe, win of lose.

The uproar is enormous. The only teams that are really happy are the ones due to be relegated from the Eredivisie.

FC Utrecht have already set the lawyers in, and the 2 teams in the second division that miss out on promotion, Cambuur and De Graafschap, would like to do that too but they may not have the finances for a fight in the courts.

I hope the EFL can do better. Let the fighting begin.

Whatever solution governing bodies come up with is going to P**s someone off, their is no perfect solution to this mess.
