Other European England Vs Germany U21 Final

Awesome energy and team performance no wonder the manager didn't want the main job less pressure and a million a year, great ga.e.

Brilliant achievement, fantastic to see the young lads earning their success! Showed true character this evening, having to dig in and weather the storm when Germany drew level and started to look dominant.

Little bit of luck with the crossbar denying Germany twice, but that's football, good that it goes in our favour and against Germany for a change!

I wouldn't be surprised if Livramento got a call. He provides cover at both fullback positions and will be in Europe this season with Newcastle

Also, McAtee could be of interest but he'd probably have to leave Man City to get enough gametime.
The 2 centre backs were outstanding against the top scorer ( 6 foot 6) in the tournament

The U21's is played every 2 years, in 2027, it will held in Albania and Serbia, which will be interesting.
England have never hosted the U21 tournament (just about the only major country that hasn't!), but if we did in 2029, I wonder what stadiums could possibly be used...

Excellent performance. Only criticism is should have been out of reach by 40mins, but weren’t. Arguably could have been 5-0 by that point.

Quansah better than Van Dijk at that age. Anderson extraordinary. On the flip side, I’m not overly concerned with us facing Jay Stansfield next season. Bit average if you ask me.

Perfect transport hub for England fans across the country.

Jonathan Rowe, who scored England's winner, was the Norwich player who refused to play for them before the first game of last season, when we beat them 2-0, and who subsequently moved to Marseilles. Congrats to him for scoring England's winner and even more so, thanks for the 3 points in that game.

Newcastle will one day look back on letting Anderson go as an absolute disaster. I'd imagine they probably do already but likely to only get worse for them.
Another example of how FFP in its current form is making football worse.

Elliott Anderson was born in the Newcastle area, joined the club at 8 years old and his grandfather played for them. However, football as a whole would be better if he didn’t play for his boyhood club, according to FFP, and so he was sold to Nottingham Forest.

Baffling

I mean Newcastle could have managed their finances better and been in a position where they didn't have to sell him, but I completely agree FFP as it's currently being implemented is a mess.

Chelsea have proven that about ten times over. And the less said about Man City and their numerous charges (and everyone's inability to do anything about it) the better.

Tyler Morton was mentioned on here a couple of years ago but hasnt really gone anywhere at club level. Wonder if he'll be looking at a Championship loan this season?
Would love that but I spoke to a bunch of Liverpool fans who say he should be starting for a lower end Prem team like Sunderland

No plastic prem fans have ever overrated their youth players before? They have at least 5 “ballers” who are “generational talents” coming through every year, with the nauseating red plastic scousers bring the worst for it.
