Current Player #5 Elliott Moore

There are two or three on that list who might be wise to get their agents making tentative enquiries elsewhere.

Unless of course, they are 'good around the training ground' in which case they'll probably be with us a while longer.

Moore - Push for a new contract
Forde - 1 year extension
Hanson - Nah
Gorrin - If we can sign Kane, I can see him leaving
Sykes - Push for a new contract
Winnall - Nah
Agyei - Cant see him staying beyond this season
Bodin - Push for a new contract
I'm not sure about keeping Forde on, I know he's done okay but I would much rather we used the money and space in the squad to get a young specialist RB to challenge and support Sam Long.

Rest I think are sensible moves

Forde has shown he is decent at RB for me.

You get a specialist in and they’re probably (hopefully!) going to spend most of the season on the bench, at best, whereas Forde also offers versatility and is perhaps our best dead ball specialist.

Forde is a versatile player, and just what we need in regards to squad depth and players that are capable of stepping into the team when they are needed. I think he’s done very well this season. A 1 year extension is risk free for the club, because he is a known quantity.

I don't disagree but we lack cover at RB and LB, with Seddon we're already seeing how many games he has to play due to a lack of cover. I also don't believe Forde would be anywhere good enough to play at RB in the Championship so if that is where we want to be we need to be making sure we aren't carrying passengers

You both cursed the poor lad, he had a stinker against lowly L2 Stevenage 😅

Maybe not. Robinson said, "it's 4-3 weeks, some say 6-8 weeks, but I'm trying to make it quicker." He then spoke about how good our medical team was at getting people back ahead of schedule. So hopefully we will see him back for April when the big games come thick and fast.

In the oxford mail it reports him as saying "Its a minimum of 4 weeks, we think, but we're still waiting for a clear reading. It can be anything from 6 to 8 weeks as well, so it could be a lot longer". Doesn't sound good and from that i'd be surprised if he's back on the pitch in 4 week's.

The official website has this quote from KR:

“We’ll have to do it without Elliott Moore who will be out for three or four weeks with an ankle injury. That’s a blow because he has been excellent for us, but he may be back slightly ahead of that…”

Sounds like Kr is saying slightly different things to different reporters lol

More likely being misquoted. On his preview interview ahead of tonights game he speaks of 4-3 and 6-8 weeks but then gives praise to our medical team for getting players back earlier than expected.
