We have made some cracking signings at centre back over the last 5 years Dunkley, Nelson, Dickie, Moore, Atkinson, you have to give credit to the scouts for that success rate, hopefully the Irish lad continues the run of success.

And to think some of them had to play alongside Jake Wright, who is only 5'4", that really shows just how good they were.

A better player than Nelson IMO, less prone to mistakes, better in the air and a better passer.

I would say that at this stage Nelson is a better player.
But Moore has had a really good season, is young and improving.
Nelson has played the last season as a regular in a Championship side pushing for the play offs.
It will be interesting to see how far Moore and Atkinson go (far more likely that it will be at Oxford if we are promoted)

Perhaps in the Netherlands where people are on average taller, and almost certainly among the Dinka tribe of the Sudan where “big” Elliot is only as tall as an average sized woman. The model is fine.

If we wanted to progress from last season, where we are a side battling to get into the play-offs but some distance behind the top 3/4 sides, then you have to sell and re-invest. I applaud the club for selling Atkinson and cashing in on Clare, the club already spent £300K on bringing McGuane in, they have spent more money on Seddon, if, if, if, they bring in Whyte on a loan or permanent and a stable centre-defender, then that's a hellava window and huge improvement.
