EFL this weekend (7/9/24)

It's like a knock off Lego set that's also missing half the pieces.

Barrow 1 up, a cheeky cheeky lob over the scum keeper. Brilliant goal.

Bit like us, but Swindon have had 2 injuries that have forced a change!

Dirty scummer, elbowed the Barrow player, Kettle jnr is having a great game, he was on the radio to the linesmen who must have seen the elbow. Red card.

Head clash, Swindon players head is bandaged up but blood pouring down his face, blood on the pitch too!

What a EFL debut for Kettle jnr

Not a bad game, Barrow had a great shot saved.

Certainly battling if not high quality.

Tbf on the ground. Barrow started from a very poor crumbling non league ground when they came into the EFL. The end terrace was built in the summer they came up which included stabilising the ground.

They've developed the other end and apparently has a decent fan zone (something the Kasstad lacks). But can't develop any more with the commercial/hospitality/Offices and changing rooms in the building behind it.

The 'temporary' stands, whilst they aren't great, increased capacity as required iirc, whilst being speed and cost effective compared to permanent development.

I think they have plans to continue the development.

Shocking up front from Swindon, Tshimanga missed a sitter, just needed it on target at least.

Over 60 mins with an outfield player in goal for Barrow and Swindon get a last second equaliser. I would still be bitterly disappointed!

FT: 1-1
