Anyway, Agyei has been a key player in the latter half of this season for Orient and I will always love him.

Part of me wants Wycombe to get promoted (admittedly a very selfish part given that I’m Reading-based and away games don’t get much closer than Wycombe).

But then I turn the game on, look at Adams Park not even sold out for a Playoff Semi, have horrible flashbacks to their gormless fans letting off fireworks and droning on about ‘Oxford Utd, it’s happened again’…and realise I never want to go there again. (Although I don’t want Charlton to go up either…so winner of Stockport/Orient for me please)

Maybe High Wycombe fans thought this was a really early pre season friendly because that’s a lot of empty seats for a play off game in a ground that only holds about 7,000 home fans.

Would much rather Charlton for the day out in London and the usual 3 points there.

Never done Stockport before so wouldn’t mind them either. Wycombe is easy but their fans are annoying. Can’t want Orient to do well after 2006.

I enjoy The Valley - but it’s one I’ve done a few times recently. And my lazy perception based on size of team alone is that Charlton would make an already ultra competitive Championship line-up next season tougher than any of the other three (although believe Wycombe and Stockport’s ownership has decent money right?!)

I’ve not done Stockport away since Andy Mutch tore us to pieces during our promotion season in 1996 - so wouldn’t mind going back there.

(And again, based on lazy perception, given Orient’s size and the fact that they’d surely lose at least half of their top loans who have provided the high end quality needed to get into the playoffs, they are probably the ones I’d like to go up the most. Then again I’m sure teams like Plymouth were saying the same about us last season!)

Quality wise this has been by a distance the worst of the playoff semi first legs across all divisions.

Classic Wycombe. Lots of long balls. Lots of scraps. Lots of leaving arms and studs in on challenges but crying and surrounding the ref when the other team does the same. Pretty much zero attacking quality from either side.

I've just wasted an hour of my life watching the second half of WW- Charlton. Utter dross. I cannot believe how poor WW are. And Charlton weren't much better. Makes you realise how far we've come in the last 12 months. And very amusing that WW can't even sell out a playoff game.

Watched it with the Charlton in-house commentary which was quite amusing. A lot of their comments about Wycombe’s anti-football and gamesmanship brought back wonderful memories, as you’d imagine.

All I've heard since Ainsworth left is that Wycombe play a different style of football now. I've been hearing it, and reading it, all of this season.

Well, on the evidence of what I watched earlier, absolutely nothing has changed. Awful tactics, awful team of brutes, and a half empty stadium. The whole spectacle had a lower end Division Four feel to it.

We are light years ahead of them now.

Even with away fans there were 3552 empty seats.
Chesterfield who have in recent years been non league had an attendance of 10001 (away fans 1022) in the league 2 play off.
