EFL final day

Luton and Plymouth will also be on our fixture list.

Stevenage make the League 1 playoffs. Matt Phillips will play for them in those. Ruben Rodrigues will play for Bolton in them too. Louie Sibley is part or Bradford’s playoff campaign and Ben Hinchcliffe and Lewis Bate will play them for Stockport.

Cambridge promoted to get the honour of playing us next season.

Andy Woodman’s Bromley win League 2. MK Dons finish second (Liam Kelly, Connal Trueman and Dan Crowley all involved).

Karl Robinson’s Salford will contest the playoffs (Luke Garbutt and Ben Woodburn will represent them).

Chesterfield will be in the playoffs at the expense of Swindon (LOL). Chey Dunkley - out of the side at the moment - may be involved.

Barrow exit the EFL. Charlie Raglan and Kane Hemmings part of the side that have dropped.

I think that’s everyone!

Well we certainly know how to recruit players for something 🤪

Roll on the press saying Oxford v Cambridge is a "derby".

IT IS NOT !!!
It’s the “Varsity Derby” in the same way as Plymouth v. Pompey is the “Dockyard Derby”. So, no, not really a derby.🙂

Blackburn can consider themselves very fortunate not to go down. Based on actual points won Leicester and WBA got more than them. It was only the points deduction that saved them.

Let's not forget that Ipswich conned 3 points off them, by having a the game replayed when Blackburn were winning. We would be going mental if that happened to us.
I’m not sure anyone could claim Ipswich were at fault for this and in no way conned anyone out of anything. Whilst losing, with 11 minutes and injury time to go, the game was called off for a waterlogged pitch. The ruling was rightfully made that the game was replayed in full, the only logical decision once the game was called off.
In the rearranged fixture, Blackburn were winning until the 4th minute of injury time when Ipswich equalised.
Who is to say Ipswich would not have won the initial fixture or equalised?
Easy to see both sides of the coin here, and using the word “conned” is a very odd choice.

Agreed, maybe the word I was looking for was "unfortunate'

The FA rules are that the score can* stand if a game is abandoned after 70 minutes. * the FA chose to order a replay, but didn’t have to. As a grassroots referee, I’ve abandoned 2 games after 70mins play this season (both bad injuries, injured players couldn’t be moved from the pitch until an ambulance arrived), with both games the score stood and the games weren’t replayed.

Yeah right, like Ipswich would ever be winning late into the game at Oxford... 🤣

Odd that they forget how to play whenever crossing the Oxfordshire border.
