Eastwood moved down here with wife and child. Wife doing a course at a uni and another little one on the way. Extended family may well be in the north but at least they have a bit of a base in the Oxford area.

Lego is a young bloke, first big move away from home. Most likely renting/in a house share. Lost Lunny and Conor McAleny. His closest pals at the club appear (from social media at least) to be Payne & Mowatt who are both loanees.
Personally, I think he loves it hear but the pull of family and friends with a move to Preston outweighs that.
Maybe we can keep him to end of season.

There’s no need to sell even if they offer £500-600k or even £750k he’s worth more than that to us even though keepers in the lower division don’t go for big dosh he’s worth overpricing in this market & if they came in with over a million (which I don’t see happening) financially you let him go & look for a replacement otherwise they can wait till the summer

I’m sure he’s fine. He’s had a good enough career.
But he’s 36, and is here as relatively cheap back up.
Perfectly capable of coming in for 3-4 games if Eastwood were injured, but not as a direct replacement.

If we sured up the defence a bit, I wouldn’t be apposed to giving Stevens a run till the end of the season, could be the chance he needs to stake his claim. But with the defence as it is it could do more harm than good to his confidence
