International Politics Donald Trump 🍊🇺🇸

And Orban was hammered in the Hungarian election despite Vance going over there to support him and Trump giving him his support.
Orban who bizarrely was a friend to Russia and Trump was a big supporter. What a strange world we live in!

There’s only one ‘Boss’ in the USA and it isn’t Trump, the incontinent mentally deranged fuckwit.

Ironic to go after someone for their looks too.
Weird, I was reading the line Trump wrote about Springsteen being a “pushy, obnoxious JERK” and it all made sense for the other way around until the stupid capital letters. Always beware a human who resorts to capital letters.

I like to think that this is an early sign of a new revolution of intelligence…
Let‘s hope.

Not that weird, they're all members of the same authoritarian boys club

No I get that.
To me it is weird as if you had suggested 15 years ago that this could happen, your sanity may have been challenged!
Things have changed so dramatically, relatively quickly.

I don't think anyone is in the least bit surprised to see certain individuals filling their boots while Trump routinely indulges in presidential recklessness.

I wouldn't be at all surprised if Trump himself was making himself a nice tidy little profit on the side. America and the rest of the world can burn for all Trump care - just so long Trump makes money out of it.

The policy is not America First. It's Trump first.

There are rumours that the Trump family have made $3 to 4 billion since he has been in his second presidency ( the aircraft from Qatar shows how brazen he has been).
It appears to be totally corrupt, but the US system seems to think it ok or not be able to challenge this?

Honestly, at this point I've come to the conclusion that American politics is just systemically corrupt, and the only difference between Trump and the majority of the rest is that he's brazen about it and doesn't care who knows.

The Citizens United ruling in the Supreme Court took away all guard rails for how much, and from whom politicians could raise campaign finance. The restrictions on politicians trading are incredibly weak and both sides of the aisle have clearly been insider dealing for years. Every single major spending bill is chock-full of 'pork' (i.e. additional spending on pet projects of various congressional members to satisfy their regions and/or their donors and the lobbyists). Obamacare gets hailed because it has allowed millions of Americans to get health insurance they couldn't otherwise have afforded - which is great! - but it is insanely, insanely expensive because baked into it are rules that allow vertically integrated insurance companies and pharmaceutical companies to basically collude to extract maximum possible profits from the public purse.

It's a political system that's beautiful in theory, but has been so badly corrupted by this point that I don't really see a fix......because the only way to put appropriate guardrails back in place is a constitutional agreement and that requires a two thirds majority in both House and Senate and three quarters of all states to ratify. Getting two thirds of US politicians to vote against their own gravy trains is a pigs will fly scenario........

Trump now blaming the US media for the war with Iran not being over. Apparently the Iranians would be accepting a deal, but they have been "confused" by the US media...

My son has convinced me of this after a couple of years of arguments about whether the dems are any better than Trump.
It’s not quite how I expected draining the swamp to go, but his brazen, unguarded warmongering and grifting might end up collapsing the crippling capitalist system the US is locked into.

It's the voting system in the States that's at fault. As we are discovering in this country. Give people a fair voting choice.

Just to be clear as sometimes people confuse statements, but I have absolutely no issues with Jews, no issue with Israel as a nation, but Netanyahu and his ultra right wing Government are murderous terrorists and the biggest threat to peace in the Middle East and wider region.

For all of his faults, and there are plenty, it looks like Trump is finally seeing Netanyahu for what he really is.

As for Iran, they've shown that they don't need Nuclear to protect themselves. A load of cheap drones, smart use of social media and a f**k-you attitude and they've stood up to America and billions of dollars of firepower.

Whatever the outcome of the peace deal, Iran come out of this stronger and are more likely to see regime change in the US and Israel than themselves.

Is this Iran that funds terrorism worldwide, wants to have a nuclear weapon to destroy Israel and kills thousands of its own people who oppose the ruling regime?

Yes, and yet I still see Netanyahu as the greatest risk to the region. Since October 7th, Israeli forces have killed over 75,000 people in Gaza, Lebanon, Syria and Iran. Many of these have been civilians. They have killed more journalists in this time than were killed across most conflicts of the 20th century. And they don't just want Nuclear weapons, they have them and are the only country in the world not to declare them.

Iran is a terrorist state. And under Netanyahu, so is Israel.

How many of the 75000 have been terrorists? Would you consider Israel is at war with these terrorists?

Add in this Israeli Govt and its direct actions in the West Bank such as stealing land through their policies where they are the occupying force.

The Israeli state enable the Settlers to act with impunity (who are protected by the IDF if the Palestinians defend themselves) including murder, destruction of settlements & income sources such as Olive Groves.

Meanwhile whilst West Bank Palestinians suffer this they have been imprisoned without charge by the thousands with torture a common occurrence. And Palestinians if they actually get charged are put in front of a Military Tribunal yet they are civilians. They have pretty much no chance to defend themselves and unlikely to get any legal representation. The conviction rate was 99% when I last read something on this.

Iran have won this war. I don’t think even Trump will be able to spin it any other way.

From the reported points of the agreed deal, ALL BUT ONE are concessions by the US when compared to their current position, and the one? A reiteration that Iran won’t built nuclear weapons.

Yes, you heard it right: the only thing Trump has in his positive locker is a bloody reiteration. You know, those things that reinforce what already existed.

Difficult to say, especially as supporters of Hamas or Hezbollah are not wearing uniforms etc. However, around 40,000 of those killed have been women and children.

So let's say one third of those killed are linked directly or indirectly to terrorist organisations. That's still 50,000 innocent civilians killed by Israel in the last couple of years. This is why many leading organisations talk of a genocide and war crimes being committed by Israel under the directive of Netanyahu.

That's not war.
