International Politics Donald Trump 🍊🇺🇸

Trump derangement syndrome is still high amongst those blinkered souls who are so desperate to hate him.

He has sorted the border crossings Lowest in 50 years:

meanwhile Starmer has not been anywhere near as successful in the uk:

In other news he has brokered a deal that sees the hostages returned. Something Biden was unable to do or anyone else for that matter.

I think he definitely deserves some credit for this, but the proof of this pudding will be in the long-term eating. This conflict has seen ceasefire before, and it will likely see fighting again. I think there's also an interesting question about why Trump didn't stop it in this manner 9 months ago when he took power.

He is willing to do what it takes and seems totally blasé about left wing hysterics.

I wouldn't mind a more British version of Trump. He's a uniquely American phenomenon. Sometimes you can't help but cringe at the things he says.

But more competent than Biden? Absolutely.

Because Israel hadn`t crossed the line by targeting Hamas negotiators in a third country. That seems to have been his "red line".

Trump is a nasty piece of work, he is using his position of power to get his vehement critics in the past to be investigated for the minor infringements of the law and major ones ! Very dangerous man the e u play up to him to get favouritism re trade deals , horrible, horrible human being!

I think today will probably be the first day that many of the many left leaning folk on this board will come to realise that the BBC is an utterly corrupt left leaning organisation.
I hope trump sues them into oblivion.
The biggest threat to British culture is not immigration, it is the constant Americanisation of the public and political conversation. This is a classic example, as is Farage’s Trumpy approach.

Absolutely, made up lies from a corrupt Anti Trump Anti Israel mouthpiece.

What the hell are you on about?!?!!!

The BBC Spliced together footage to make Trump look like he's calling for violence and you come out with this crap!!

The ramblings of a blue pilled lifer.

I'm not defending any possible BBC editing of footage - but let's be honest, he was in effect calling for a violent response however you dress this up, that evidence is everywhere.

Well then the BBC should have used that evidence, and not created their own.
It's exactly like their coverage of Unite the Kingdom march and their coverage of the Anti fascist Rabble. I was there (separate business in London that day) the BBC media representation simply didnt match with my eyes and photo evidence what i saw and recorded.

For context................

The one-hour programme, Trump: A Second Chance?, was broadcast last year and was made for the BBC by independent production company October Films Ltd, which has also been approached for comment.

In his speech in Washington DC on 6 January 2021, Trump said: "We're going to walk down to the Capitol, and we're going to cheer on our brave senators and congressmen and women."

However, in Panorama's edit, he was shown saying: "We're going to walk down to the Capitol... and I'll be there with you. And we fight. We fight like hell."

The two sections of the speech that were edited together were more than 50 minutes apart.

The "fight like hell" comment was taken from a section where President Trump discussed how "corrupt" US elections were. In total, he used the words "fight" or "fighting" 20 times in the speech.

After showing the president speaking, the programme played footage of flag-waving men marching on the Capitol, the Telegraph said.

According to the leaked memo, this "created the impression President Trump's supporters had taken up his 'call to arms'". But that footage was in fact shot before the president had started speaking."

All media outlets do it, they take snippets from longer speeches and amplify that. Its news designed for the modern world where people have the attention span of a goldfish and can`t be bothered to find the whole speech/report.

I've watched many a Match of the Day edit that bears no relation to the 90+ I have watched. Who do I sue?

Difference being you know 90 minutes has been chopped about and shrunk into a few minutes.

Media outlets have done the same for many, many years.

How is the BBC corrupt?
So you dont call splicing a video together to make it appear as if trump was calling for violence, when he actually said something completely different, as Corrupt!?!?

You're hilarious 😂

No. Where is the money or the personal gain?

One or the other needs to be the case for corruption.
Good grief! The desperation!!

The BBC's personal gain is to try and change the president of the United States!!

Trump derangement syndrome is strong in this one.

Get a grip!

I don't care about Trump one way or the other, and I fully get why people back him after Biden.

I just think you have misidentified corruption.

That is why I asked you a simple question which you have extrapolated beyond all reason.

The BBC's personal gain is to try and change the president of the United States!!
Really? Firstly, why would they have that aim, and secondly, how do you think a Panarama show which more than likely made absolutely no ripples in the USA or with US voters, is likely to further that aim?

I'd say that Trump himself appears to be doing everything in his power to ensure there's regime change in the US, if the overnight results are anything to go by. :ROFLMAO:

He'll now be hellbent on moving the goalposts to tilt things in his favour whilst resorting to threats to try and make people "fall in line". He is the sorest or sore losers, but he's a loser nonetheless:)

Dear god! We have our state broadcaster, who is supposed to be impartial, splicing together footage of a US president in order to make him look like he's calling for violence and we get a handful of lefties come on here and because it's trump, try and argue the toss.
It must be horrible being so indoctrinated and brainwashed that you can't even accept that what the BBC did was thoroughly wicked.

If it was the other way round and they did something on Biden, I'd have no problem at all calling it out.

Leftism is so fascinating.
