I'm sorry but these service men are not making a 'sacrifice' being away from home in the UK. When men and women sign up they know they will have to serve overseas - they can't think they will be spending their military careers in the US. They are well looked after, with many of the comforts of home being offered at concessionary rates.
I grew up in an army household - amongst others, my Dad did tours in Kenya, Belize and twice in Northern Ireland, he never talked about 'sacrifice' but about a job being done. It's quite different when service men and women are in actual war zones, fighting for their very lives but spending time on bases in the UK is not a 'sacrifice' - it's called working away from home. Sounds like you're chatting to a bunch of whining Trumpites with a very sheltered view of the real world.
