General Development in BBL: Match Day Impact

the old, narrow alley/walkway from /to Knights rd to the steps behind North Stand has been closed and bulldozed. With a new longer much curvier and wider replacement which was open on a matchday for the first time Saturday last. IMO Good points its wider, with no stop starts of queueing people post match, so safer and more user friendly. Bad points , the additional distance equates to leaving the 'Bird 5 mins earlier than previously ( Im not as nimble or as quick as I used to be), and after losing at home 0-2 in a lacklustre manner, the longer walk back post match, in the rain was a prolonged miserable experience

Im not on X ( ditto many others, take note SLO)- an announcement before an early kick off via OUFC WEBSITE would've been a better option than approx 2.5 hrs before kickoff ( early at that) on a matchday , when most are en route to the game, through a platform that many are no longer using

@OUSP can you inform the SLO he is a bit rubbish - tell him I said so

I checked my fax machine before I left, had no messages on my pager and phoned the ClubCall number from the payphone on route but still ended up walking straight into the Herras fencing.

If you had phoned clubcall you would have spent £400 and wasted two hours of your life before you actually got the bit about the footpath.
