Perhaps. Might just be a poor choice of words so I wouldn’t be dissecting it that deeply. What we know is that he’s been pretty close on a number occasions with inside knowledge much to the annoyance of some, for reasons I don’t really understand. Quite obvious he did have sight of the shortlist, rightly or wrongly, so I’m all for a joke but he should probably be given a bit more latitude than a P**s take every time they appear on a thread. That’s just my take."Cardiff want to speak to him" and "It's 50/50 whether he goes there"
Half of the message at least, must, by definition, be utter made-up B*****s.

I noticed those comments too, and wondered if a not-so-subtle hint was being dropped. In an interview with Des, he highlighted how McKenna and Rob Edwards were both offered new contracts as the clubs 'wanted to keep them '
I assume that Des received a decent payrise after taking us up, and would think that the board are looking at new contracts for the backroom staff ( as well as some players)?
Renewing Des’s deal with a better wage but with additional financial protections for the club, in the event that he is approached, would be the shrewdest piece of business that the club could do.
A certain member of the forum could have lent you some from his extensive collection.Don't worry everyone, Des is going nowhere - I've already ordered the handcuffs...
@Scotchegg been swiping gear from work again?A certain member of the forum could have lent you some from his extensive collection.
Yes but the ones I've ordered are specially designed to handcuff him to the dugout, and they're padded, because although I desperately don't want him to leave, I wouldn't want to hurt him either, just very politely hold him hostage. For ever.A certain member of the forum could have lent you some from his extensive collection.
This was ages ago... keep up @Northstandboy- Des on CBS Sports Golazo.
I've not noticed that, but the phrase 'put ourselves in the best position' is ever-present...Anyone else notice that our Des loves the word wonderful! Nearly every interview it gets thrown in a couple of times.
