With a 10th minute moment for Christian Eriksen.

Hope it`s a 3-2 belter.

Got 0-0 written all over it then.

Belgium will be too good for Denmark. They’re in that select group who look good enough to win the tournament along with France and Italy. There’s a larger secondary but less likely group of Netherlands, England, Germany and Portugal who could make inroads. I think the winner will come from one of Italy, France or Belgium though.

You wonder what frame of mind the Danes will be in too. Whilst Erikssen is thankfully ok and recovering, would you really be in the mood to continue without him?

Denmark look really good until the final moments. I fear they will live to regret not finishing more of these chances off.

From the evidence of the first 35 minutes, you can put Belgium back in the secondary bucket, if that......

Denmark playing with tons of emotion, but the Belgians just look flat. Is the window for their golden generation closing?

Though obviously Kevin De Bruyne will make a difference, if and when he gets fit.

Certainly slowed down after a frantic start, think Lukaku was glad for the breather!

This is their last tournament imo. That back line isn't what it was. Remember when they had prime Alderweireld, Kompany and Vertonghen, with Courtois behind? Bit of a step down to an ageing Alderweireld and Denayer or Boyata, and it'll only be worse in 18 months' time. Hazard (E) and Mertens on their last legs as well. In Lukaku and De Bruyne, and maybe Meunier, they will still have player who could probably be considered to be in that top, top bracket of player, but that's a massive step down from having arguably world class players in nearly every position 5 or 7 years ago.

They merely lulled us into a false sense of security.

Keep De Bruyne and Hazard fit and they’ll make the semis.

Belgium on the front foot are excellent. Belgium on the back foot aren't much at all. They have similar weaknesses/strengths to England.

Yeah, so it turns out that bringing on one of the best players in the world at halftime - and another on the hour mark - does make a difference!

Though I do think that ttg17's analysis is spot on.

Winner of Group A plays the Winner of Group B in the Quarter Finals (assuming they make it through the last sixteen). Looking very much like Italy vs. Belgium, which would be very tasty!
