Dad used to speak about that Charlton goal a lot, said he had never seen a ball hit harder.

Nor me, I can’t recall Law’s goal but must have been London Road end. Yeah, Charlton’s strike - unforgettable and heartbreaking at the same time!

I couldn't believe that evening we were more than equals and were leading until the 87th minute until uncle Bob let rip.

Really glad the Manor turf was not only graced by our own great legends but graced that evening by Best, Charlton and Law, and the best bit, we were on the night better than them and the Red United fans knew it.

Oxford United Football Club.....keep spreading those four words.

Think it was a cup game my first Oxford game been hooked ever since.
