Sure, Joey was more talented, but Whitehead had by far the better career with over 200 top flight appearances.

The only other rival I can think of is Mark Wright.....but his time at the club was comparatively fleeting.

Definitely Matthew le Tissier.

There is no way he’d’ve had the stellar career he did without the firm guiding influence of OUFC.

and captained the Hornets at Wembley in 1984. Top player,top professional.
