For our next apt we cannot afford to allow a first timer to ply their trade with us, especially one that looked way out of his depth in management at Everton.

His knowledge of the young and up and coming talent would be very useful to the model we currently run.

I wouldn't say no. Certainly prefer him to Lampard. Look at the talent that has recently come through the Everton youth ranks and he has been the manager so promising.

He was being spoken highly of in the summer, and aside from a few games managing a dysfunctional Everton side, little has changed. I would think he'd be in with a shout if interested.
