He did come off the bench at Pompey and make a difference - his physicality gave the centre backs something different to deal with and he was involved in the build up to the goal with a neat pass.I hope it does him a world of good, though a cynic might suggest that scoring an 85th minute goal against a side that is already 5-0 down, and then setting up the 7th in the 90th minute, isn't necessarily indicative that he's coming into form.
This will surely be a buzz for him, and let's hope this is the start of a free-scoring run. Don't quite see him taking Sparky's starting space just yet though. Come off the bench for us and perform like this, however, and that may change.
Give him a start on Tuesday and let Harris have a rest.
Harris should perform better if he knows there's competition for a starting place and he has a chance to recharge his batteries
That aged well, then.I...don't get this lad. At all.
Yes, he only got a few minutes in a tight game that we were battling for a point. However...
He can't, or won't run.
He can't, or won't chase down.
He can't, or won't track back.
He can't, or won't harry for possession.
What he can do is run the wrong lines and, when not in possession, stand with a body posture that makes it look like he's soiled himself.
How on earth this lad is the captain of the England U-20 I will never know.
Needs massive improvement, and sharpish.

Harris put in his usual shift today but I thought he looked a bit leggy from early on. His body language was the look of a tired man too. Maybe the travelling and 90 minutes in the week has taken a toll. I’d rest him and start Scarlett on Tuesday, Harris and Goodwin off the bench will be very good options too.
He didn't impress me at first, fair to say. But fair enough, he's done well since...and today was hopefully the start of him really becoming a big part of our season. Very happy for him and the team. That aged well, then.
Yep. Harris is non stop work-rate but that has to take its toll. Give him a rest.Give him a start on Tuesday and let Harris have a rest.

Harris played a lot of his football at Cardiff as a No 10. I wouldn't be surprised if he played that role if Scarlett starts as the main striker.Harris put in his usual shift today but I thought he looked a bit leggy from early on. Did you mean to post this in the Dane Scarlett thread? The worry of Moore and Brown preseason was just an understanding or fear of the championship, by some.
The addition of Nelson only goes to show, how we recognised were the strength of the team is. And needs to be built from.
Offensively we looked second best again today. But the questionable ones, once again showed their capabilities

This sums up everything for me this season so far. If/when we stay up it will be pretty much all to do with this (and Des' tactical genius)But I’ve been so impressed with the squad management up to now - today we were missing Placheta, Brannagan, Phillips, McEachran, Bennett and Edwards and yet we not only managed to go toe to toe with WBA from the start, but also change the game with what we had to spare on the bench.

Harris needs to be dropped, which we all can hide behind the term 'rested'.
what a nasty thing to sayHarris needs to be dropped, which we all can hide behind the term 'rested'.
