Nah - he'll get a start (using up quite a few balls in the process) and then do something daft like shuffle across his stumps to a straight one or get caught off a rank long hop. He does it most times.

We have a good enough bowling attack. 5 main line bowlers plus Stokes and Root.
We badly miss Toy clearly. If he wint get fit, the only player anywhere near as good is Hales.
I am sure that England would love to NOT call him.up, but if Roy isnt fit I am not sure they have much option if they seriously want to win the WC (as somebody suggested above Vince will now get 100 tomorrow)

The problem is though that Vince could get 100 tomorrow and I'd still have absolutely no confidence in him getting anywhere near that again in the next ten matches.
Vince won’t last long with Starc and Cummins. He will probably play a stupid shot or get clean bowled for 15 if he’s lucky.
I really don’t rate him as an international cricketer. County maybe, but this is a totally different ball game.
Root didn’t play to badly when he opened a couple of games ago.

Liam Plunkett is unlucky, bowled and batted well when he’s had a chance, yet Vince in ahead of him despite doing nothing.
