I See you still have a 24 man first team squad, with players to still come in you might have to move around 4 of your squad players to fit the 22.

I think it will be more of the younger lot missing out of the matchday squad, Long Baptiste Carroll Little Napa will be between the squad & U23s called upon if we struggle with injuries in the 1st team

Much happier now we have another striker signed albeit on loan.

Jack Stevens on the bench against Barnsley. Sure he'll start U23 games this season, but maybe he'll be worthy of being called a fully fledged squad member in a few weeks?

He seems to be great around the squad for morale. He turns 38 in February, I'd hope he'll be spending time learning off of Wayne Brown for the next stage in his career, if it is coaching he fancies.

Every now and then I read Pekalskis name and remember he is still our “player”, not that I have or ever will see him play.
Is Tsun Dai a winger/no.10? I always got the impression he's more of a central midfielder.

He’s more of an optimistic attempt to flog merchandise in Asia, I believe.
Well next summer seems a heck of a long way off at the moment but we’re fast approaching a time when players who’s contracts are up at the end of this season will be looking ahead to what they do next. I’d say any player that the club wish to tie down to new deals needs to be sorted before January. Ignoring the obvious Nelson situation, I believe Henry is another who’s contract ends next summer? If so I would hope he’s another we look to get tied down in the next couple of months. Personally I think he’s a very important player for us.

I would imagine that no players are going to commit at the moment.
They will want to know which Division we are likely to be in, whether the manager is likely to be here, what the ambitions are for next season.
Get some decent results in the next few games and start moving up the table and it will be easier to try and the down players like Henry.

Henry signed a three year deal so has over 18 months left. If Robinson is still manager next summer I would expect him to go. Feel free to bookmark that prediction and see if he’s still here when the season starts next August in such circumstances.
Off the top of my head I believe that Shearer, Nelson, Mousinho, Raglan, Long, Hall and Obika are ooc next June. Mousinho might get another year offered if he carries on doing well as holding mid and I’m sure Hall will be offered something if he can get back from his injury, but the rest are as good as gone. Expect Nelson to go to Sunderland on a free while a certain somebody cackles into their scotch.
